About the host:
John Paul Laurenti’s love for music started when he was a child, attending his first concert at age 4. Laurenti is a self-taught musician, learning the drums, guitar, and bass throughout his life. He helped form the band Half Tab while he was in college, drumming for the band and playing local shows. A 2020 graduate of Westfield State University, Laurenti hosted the show Deep Cuts as well as held the General Manager position at WSKB, the school’s radio station. Now, as host of the Music Drives Us Podcast, he hopes to bring awareness to the organization and keep music in our schools.
