Music Drives Us is thrilled to announce that we will be powering Boston Blues SchoolHouse!
A legacy program of the House of Blues Music Forward Foundation, Blues SchoolHouse traces the history of the blues from its roots in African musical traditions to its emergence as an American musical form, as well as its influence on other genres. The program demonstrates how music is a tool for communication and a driver of social change through the reflection of the human experience. Each year, nearly 5,000 5th-12th grade students will attend this educational music performance.
The program weaves major historical events narrated across an American history timeline and demonstrates how music can reflect social conditions and drive social change.
