MDU Presents Drum Kit to Home for Boys

Plumber House For Boys Receives Drum Kit Salem, Ma, 2/20/2013

Raquel Rohlfing and Eric Clemenzi of Music Drives Us visited The Plummer Home for Boys on February 20th to award them a $5000 grant, a portion of which was used for a KAT KT1 digital drum set that they set up and presented to the boys. The remainder of the grant will be used for music lessons.

Plummer Home has a strong music program that teaches the kids to play while helping them develop important social skills and process traumatic childhood experiences.

Music Drives Us seeks out organizations and individuals that are interested in using music as a tool to effect positive changes for people in need.
