Boston Region Winner: Jackson Wetherbee Band
The Boston Regional Final battle was great: The Metal Band Amadis, Gravitas, Jackson Wetherbee Band, In Like Lions and The Richard James Band all performed their hearts out to a crowd of 200 people. In the end, it was the Jackson Wetherbee Band’s vocals and catchy song-writing that put them over the top and made them the 2011 Battle of the Bands winner from the Boston Hard Rock Cafe.

Jackson Wetherbee Bands performance was recorded and sent to a panel of national judges, who narrow down the competition to 3 finalists. Then the vote will go online to determine the winner. We will be sure to let everyone know when the voting begins.
The three winners will earn a spot on the stage at Hard Rock Calling in London's Hyde Park, June 24-26, to celebrate 40 years since Hard Rock opened it's doors in 1971.
It's been since Hard Rock first opened its doors, Hard Rock Calling returns to London’s Hyde Park in June 2011.
Now in its sixth consecutive year, Hard Rock Calling will return next summer to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hard Rock as it remains one of the UK’s premier outdoor music events.
Previous years have seen a long line of rock and roll greats take to the stage at this iconic location in central London.
